Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update Letter for Families
Parents, Yesterday, school and district administrators from around the county had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Karen Ramstrom, Shasta County's Public Health Officer, and Brandy Isola, the Branch Director for Shasta County Public Health. They provided helpful background on Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and what is happening within the county to prepare, including what schools can do now.

Free Meals to School Aged Children
At this time we want you to be aware that the District will be able to supply supplemental free meals to children under 18 during this initial school site closure. Initially the meals will be a breakfast and lunch served at Buckeye School of the Arts and Shasta Lake School. Breakfast will be available via drive up line from 7:30 am to 8 am and lunch from 11 :30 to 12 pm.

The Shasta Lake Gateway Library has been a Nonprofit public library serving the community since January 1994. The Library's goal has always been to provide library services to the community, with the assistance of volunteers and "Friends of the Library" making regular donations of books, magazines, or money for the operation of the library.

The Shasta Lake Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization dedicated to meeting the needs of the business community by fostering economic opportunity and a favorable business climate.
